Accepted to...

Its true! Wednesday, November 16th at 6:14am, I decided to go and email my teacher but to my surprise I find an email from CES (Church Educational System) Application. I open it and it says "A decision on your BYU-I application has been made. Click here to see it." I took a breath and clicked on it. The first page loads up saying: "Sign in." I was kind of a bit annoyed since I was so nervous. I signed in at it said "Dear Hannah Heninger, Congratulations! You have accepted into BYU-I!" Now this was my reaction:
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!MOMMOMMOM!!DADADADAD! I'M IN! I'M IN!
My mom pretty much rose up like I just had witnessed a murder and wasn't convinced until I showed her. Then we became freaked out together! I'm so excited to start learning there and so grateful that I was accepted! I'M GOING TO BYU-I!

Friday Night Under The Lights

This may be hard to believe (espically if your from Texas), But this is from one of my first football games I went to. It was so much fun, even if we lost. I still had fun with my friends.

My CAR

How am I so lucky? My AMAZING parents got me a car! Its a 1991 Honda Accord and everything WORKS! It has a great gas mileage, a new radio, a sunroof....the only downfall is that its a stick shift. I don't know how to drive a stick, BUT I'm learning! So here's what has happened so far....

Day Uno:
Stalled the car 3 times trying to shift and almost drove one parent crazy.

Day Dos:
Didn't go behind the wheel based on yesterdays little fiasco. But shifted the stick on open roads while my dad drove. So getting there...

{PrOm 2011}

Yes its true, I went to prom! I started getting ready at 11 am and ended at 4:30 pm (oh the joys of being a big girly girl like me). But I LOVE the finished product (especially the dress)!

{Seventeen Facts}

1. I'm 2 years younger than my mom when she was MARRIED
2. I learned how to surf for my 17th birthday
3. I spent my birthday watching my uncle getting sealed to his cute little wife
4. I have a date for PROM! (like a-boy-asked-me date)
5. I'm a few steps closer to getting my license at 17 than 16
6. I only have a few weeks until I'm a SENIOR
7. I can somewhat keep a cleaner room now
8. I will be receiving an award for my grades (this one really surprised me)
9. I'm having the time of my life with ALL my friends
10. I'm getting excited for my LAST YEAR of girls camp (the only upside is no dirt)
11. I'm still available for hire
12. I'll be applying for college soon
13. I'll be ending my last year of swim sooner
14. I be trying to change the world with every little thing I do
15. I'll be traveling with friends
16. I'll leave the nest in one year
17. I only have one more year to have the time of my life

Where's the logic?

Jonah is sort of funny sometimes. Today him and my mom talked about how he cannot wear his favorite shirt to school anymore because it is a bit too old. The is so disappointed and starts begging my mom to let him keep wearing the shirt. Of course my mom says no. Not even 2 minutes later Jonah yells down to Jacob "Jacob! Look at this cool move I can do!" Jacob responds with "cool Jo". Only Jonah comes back saying "yeah too bad it will cause holes in my sock... oh well." Where is he logic???

So...Many....Prom Dresses

My mom and I spent most of our Sunday looking for a prom dress for me. Wow! Who knew that there were SO many STINKIN' dress! Well here are some that I really liked but I'm still searching like a mad dog....yay....

CTR Mishap

I was in algebra 2 and a little board (not going to lie). So I start playing with my CTR ring ( CTR means "Choose The Right"; its an LDS thing) and not paying attention to where I put it on. I stick it on my left hand on the wedding ring finger and started to do my work. Well 5 minutes into doing my work and the guy next to me taps me and asks "Who's CTR? Is he your boyfriend?".

Moral of the story, a silly mistake turns into a great missionary moment.
