Dear Friends and Family, I am now in officially in Canada, but not just any part but Saskatoon!!! I am in the meadow green ward up here. We just had Victoria Day on Monday so I got to email today. I love it here! My testimony has really increased up here and I already love the people. The first appointment I had was a woman named Nyweka Dak. She is from Sudan, Africa and her husband is member. We have ran into a problem with her reading the Book of Mormon. She speaks little English and cannot read. I will be teaching her English and how to read on Tuesdays and the gospel Wednesday. She is an amazingly strong woman! We have also been teaching a woman named Celena. Celena has been inactive for about 10 years and is coming back to church. She expects to be going to the temple soon. Then we have Santana. Santana has been a member for 4 years but has been inactive. She has a CUTE little girl named Emma and both of them love the gospel. We are looking forward to trying to get her into the temple soon. Teaching people is great and all but the real miracles open up when you go tracking. I had this feeling that we needed to tracked at a certain court RANDOMLY. I didn't know where to go until we came to the house. We walked right up to the door, knocked, introduced ourselves and ended up giving the man a Book of Mormon. Not only that, today we met a girl named Taylor. I didn't know what to say at first then the spirit put words into my mouth. We ended up getting an appointment for tomorrow. My companion is Sister Elkins and I LOVE HER! She is just as crazy, talkative, and funny as I am. I am so blessed to work here. I know that this is where I need to be right now. Teaching the gospel with everyone. I would not be doing this if I didn't know it was true. If you have some missionaries on your door step, there's a reason. We pray like crazy out here to find people who want to be happier. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ will make you happier. I love this gospel and I am so happy to be out here! Love ya and miss ya! -Sister Heninger

Letter May 7

Dear Family/Friends! The MTC has been a bast! I have had such an awesome time here! The spirit is so strong here! I have grown so much! My companion is Sister Wise. She is from Springfield, Utah. She is just as funny and dorky as I am. My district is amazing! We have so much fun just being with each other! This week has been full of trials. We had to learn for the first time in our lives to pray for guidance for someone else. This was real challenge. We could not get on the same page. Sister Wise and I bombed our first lesson. We had to really exercise faith to figure out what our investigator needed. Yesterday, all our hard work paid off! We taught our second investigator and committed them to read the Book of Mormon. Then the investigator that had the first lesson, had began to cry when we committed him to read the Book of Mormon AND committed him to baptism. BOOM! Sister missionaries ROCK! :) I'm so greatful to be here! Thanks for all your support and letters! It makes my day when I see so many people emailing me! I now leave you with my testimony. I know this church is true and, if you have ever been curious to why I am so happy, read the Book of Mormon. It will bless your life in SO MANY ways! Love ya and miss ya!! -Sister Heninger!
